At the Youth Sport Trust National Conference 2018, you will hear from an unrivalled range of speakers, teachers and trainers. Through keynote speeches, workshops and networking opportunities we will be exploring how sport, PE and physical activity can elevate young people’s aspirations, raise their attainment and improve their physical and emotional wellbeing.

Keynote speakers include Dr John Ratey, associate professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and author of Spark: The Revolutionary New Science of Exercise and the Brain.
Delegates will also get to hear from new YST Chair Neil Davidson CBE.
This will be the 19th YST annual national conference. The event has a rich history of bringing together headteachers, PE practitioners, policy officials, health and national governing bodies to pioneer innovation, share best practice and deliver change.
A broad spectrum of experts in their field from education and health will share and inspire thought-leading best practice.
Inspiring mix of interactive workshops and plenary sessions designed to maximise learning, networking and skills enabling you to put new thinking into practice.
The Awards Dinner takes place on Tuesday 27 February 2018, the night before Conference. More info on the night's entertainment will be released shortly, but nominations are now open for the awards.

Centrally located, the Ricoh Arena in Coventry is five minutes from the M6 motorway, 20 minutes from Birmingham International Airport and 50 minutes by rail from London Euston.
