Yoga

SarahJoin Salisbury’s NEW Park Yoga instructor Sarah Naylor for a series of online yoga tutorials suitable for beginners and those more experienced.  Sarah is a 500hr British Wheel of Yoga teacher and is keen to bring the opportunity to try yoga to anyone who hasn’t before. No specialist equipment is needed for the sessions and participants can sit on a yoga mat, cushion, carpet, rug, blanket, towel, chair or sofa.

For the session, please ensure your space is clear and you are fit & well before taking part. If on a wooden floor remember to step off your blanket/towel when standing! Anyone with a medical condition or injury should first consult with a medical professional.  Some general tips for exercising at home are:

  1. Create a daily routine that includes time to exercise
  2. Change into appropriate clothes and footwear to get in the right frame of mind
  3. Crank up your favourite tunes to get inspired!
  4. Choose an activity that's right for your fitness levels (talk it over with a health professional if you are not sure)
  5. Drink plenty of water
