The School Games, which is funded by Sport England National Lottery Funding, is a government-led programme designed to inspire young people to be physically active for life through positive experiences of daily activity and competition. It places physical activity and competitive sport at the heart of schools and provides more young people with the opportunity to compete and achieve their personal best.

School Games 2024-2025 Programme
The Wiltshire and Swindon School Games programme consists of:
- area qualifying rounds leading to county finals
- developmental events
- target events.
It is coordinated and delivered by WASP in partnership with the School Games Organisers, Local Authorities, National Governing Bodies of Sport, local clubs and county associations.
