New Places for Target Faces
We are delighted to introduce to you our new programme, New Places for Target Faces, which aims to open up new archery venues around the country.
The programme has specifically been designed to assist sport facility owners and managers, providing advice, support and resources to help them deliver archery for the first time. New Places for Target Faces has been designed with the facility owner in mind who has no experience of archery, with no assumptions made. Within a few weeks a new venue could be offering an archery experience to a new market of children and adults. Archery, as well as being delivered on the traditional playing field, can also be delivered in a variety of other sporting venues including indoor sports halls and multi-use games areas.
Alongside insightful advice and tailored support, an additional benefit for venue owners and managers who become involved in the programme is that they can access a start-up grant of up to £1,000. This can be used to purchase equipment or train staff in the delivery of the sport.
Do you have a facilities managers meeting coming up that we could perhaps attend and provide more information on the programme? Please contact us to let us know of any suitable forums where we could promote the programme.
Please help to support this programme by passing on this information to your Local Authority Sports Development Officers, Leisure Centre managers and promote across your networks.
