    • Jewson: Building Better Communities Fund

jewson bbcHow It Works - There are Jewson branches all over the UK and we’re proud to be part of the communities where we live and work. That’s why we’re giving local projects the chance to win the financial support needed to transform them.

    Phase 1- Nominations

    27th March - 5th May

Tell us about your project – It may be a new sports club changing room, a much needed play area for children or a facelift for a community building that’s seen better days. Whatever it is, we want to hear about it.

    Phase 2 – Shortlisting

    8th May - 20th May

Our judges will select their shortlist from all entries, reviewing each nomination against a set of criteria. . Full terms & conditions can be viewed here.

    Phase 3 – Voting

    22th May - 16th June

We’ll whittle all the nominations down to a shortlist of projects to be announced on Monday 22nd May. If your project is lucky enough to make the list, you’ll need to call on your community to get behind it and vote, vote, vote.

    Phase 4 - Judging

    19th June - 1st July

With voting closed, our panel will judge each entry, considering both the entry information and the public voting. 50% of the overall score will come from the judges, and 50% from the public vote. The judges will decide the regional winners who will receive support of between £500 and £10,000, and the Top Regional Winner of £50,000. The Trade Hero will also be selected to win a prize of £50,000.
